VINCE NEIL SENTENCED TO TWO WEEKS IN JAIL

Motley Crue front man Vince Neil will take a plea deal and serve two weeks in jail, as well as an additional two weeks of house arrest, after driving his Lamborghini drunk last summer in Las Vegas.

Neil has agreed to plead guilty to the misdemeanor of driving under the influence when he appears in court on January 26. Neil recognized that he had to take responsibility for his actions and released a statement through his publicist saying "I have recognized that you can't drink and drive at all".

Two weeks is nothing considering that Neil could have faced six months in the big house. The bad thing for Neil is that his sentence will begin on February 15, which is the week after his 50th birthday – happy birthday dude, now go to jail!

Back in 1984 Neil pleaded guilty to drink driving and manslaughter after he crashed a car in Redondo Beach, California, resulting in the death of his passenger, Nicholas Dingley (the drummer for the band Hanoi Rocks). Neil wasn't injured but was sentenced to serve 20 days in jail, as well as paying $2.5 million bucks to the victims.

After appearing on the television series Skating With The Stars, I'm sure we're all glad that Neil still lives up to his long-standing reputation as a rock n roll bad boy, it's par for the course to get caught once in a while!
