The band have recently posted the re-mastered versions of the tracks "Grotesque Impalement" from the album "Infatuation With Malevolence" and "Skull Fu*ked" from the album "Purification Through Violence" up for stream via the Dying Fetus MySpace page. These four albums were originally released under four different labels before Dying Fetus moved over to Relapse (Relapse have since released all subsequent Fetus records). The reissues will be available from Relapse Records.
The first two releases (Infatuation and Purification) were originally released with low quality recording and mixing and because of this suffered bad reviews from people who couldn't see through this. They'll likely get much better reviews with the re-mastering. These albums are also before the turning point in Fetus' themes when they were still growling about gore and horror (before later moving to political themes). The re-issues will each contain a bunch of bonuses which include previously unreleased photos, extended album artworks, new liner notes, and previously unreleased tracks.
Dying Fetus are scheduled to headline the Bonecrusher Festivals in Europe through February and March. These will be the bands last shows before hitting the studio to record their next full length record. Their most recent album "Descend Into Depravity" was released in late 2009, and the band are set to follow it up with their next record sometime later this year.
