CHILDREN OF BODOM STREAMING NEW SINGLE

Children Of Bodom are making their new single "Was It Worth It?" available for streaming via their Facebook page starting tomorrow (Jan 13). The song is track 8 from their upcoming album "Relentless Reckless Forever" which will be available March 8, 2011 via Spinefarm Records.

Alexi Laiho, vocalist and lead guitarist for Bodom describes the track - "The single 'Was It Worth It?' is a total party song", said Laiho. "It's not your typical Bodom sound, but it's one of my favorites and heavy as hell." There is also a music video for the track which features pro skateboarders Chris Cole, as well as Jamie Thomas, Garrett Hill and Tom Asta.

Recorded at Finland's Petrax Studios during August and September 2010, the "Relentless Reckless Forever" album was initially delayed when a small tornado cut the power to the studio. Because of a busy touring schedule the band had to halt recording until after they finished their tour with Black Label Society.

Regarding the new album Laiho commented as follows: "We worked super hard on this album, at least for me it was pretty much no sleep or rest for six weeks," stated Laiho. "But we were determined to make the best COB album ever, so we were willing to do whatever it took".

Children Of Bodom have also recently announced "The Ugly World Tour 2011" to support "Relentless Reckless Forever". The tour is named after the song "Ugly", which is track 6 from the new album. Supporting acts for the tour will be Ensiferum, Machinae Supremacy and Amon Amarth (UK only). The first leg of the tour kicks off in March and is a solid two months of shows around Europe. COB are also playing Wacken 2011 in August.
